Open Access Week 2021 Workshop: Advocating for Open Access in RTP

Open Access Week 2021 Workshop: Advocating for Open Access in RTP In-Person

The Retention, Tenure, and Promotion (RTP) process is hard enough, but can be made even more challenging when trying to advocate for Open Access Publishing options. This workshop, designed both for faculty in the RTP process and for faculty who will be reviewing RTP portfolios, will help dispel myths around open access publishing and demonstrate strategies for advocating for Open Access publishing models. Open Access publishing maps directly to our campus' principles for inclusive excellence.

This workshop is one of five workshops presented for Open Access Week 2021 and is co-sponsored by Broome Library and the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs. Please see the library calendar for more Open Access Week Events!
