Open Access Week 2021 Workshop: What is ORCid?

Open Access Week 2021 Workshop: What is ORCid? In-Person

This short, lunchtime workshop will introduce you to ORCid, the unique identifier for authors that can quickly tie you to your publications without the use of predatory sites (like academia.edu, etc.). We will have time during the workshop to set up an ORCid if you do not have one already or learn more about how powerful they are if you already have one. It will be led by Broome Librarian, Beth Blackwood with assistance from other campus open access advocates. Please come with your questions!

This workshop is one of five workshops presented for Open Access Week 2021 and is co-sponsored by Broome Library and the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs. Please see the library calendar for more Open Access Week Events!

The University encourages persons with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation, or have questions about the physical access provided, please contact Disability Accommodations and Support Services at (805) 437-3331 or accommodations@csuci.edu as soon as possible, but no later than 7 business days prior to the event.
