We Remember: End of Innocence. George J. Sandoval, Dir. (2015) 47 minutes In-Person

Twenty-four local Vietnam veterans relate their experiences during their tour of duty in Southeast Asia.  Veterans interviewed include:  John Arias (Army), Richard Bryan (Navy), Richard Camacho (Marines), Victor Contreras (Air Force), Dale Dean (Air Force), Joe García (Army), James Graca (Marines), Jess Gutiérrez (Army), Roberto Juárez (Army), Eddie Leighten (Army), Stan Leighten (Army), Don Montgomery (Army), Moses Mora (Army), Joe Ortiz (Army), Rafael Pérez (Army), Art Ramírez (Army) Jan Richards (Army), Joe Richardson (Marines), Roy Rodríguez  (Air Force), Luis Sánchez (Army), Terry Schaeffer (Navy), Sigfried Storz (Army), Steve Thomas (Navy) and Dave Wilson (Army).

This film was produced in coordination with the We Remember: Ventura County to Vietnam and Back exhibition at the Museum of Ventura County and screened in August 2015.

Film screening will be follow by panel of Veterans.

Presented by George J. Sandoval, Oxnard Film Society, the Broome Library, and the Port of Hueneme.
