Faculty Works in Progress: Dr. Frank Barajas In-Person / Online

Dr. Frank Barajas, author of Mexicans with Moxie: A Transgenerational history of El Movimiento Chicano in Ventura County, California 1945-1975 and Curious Unions: Mexican American Workers and Resistance in Oxnard, California 1898-1961 will discuss the research phase for his current work on the Chicana/o Movement in Ventura County "after" the Chicana/o Movement, a preliminary outline in relation to the origins and methodology of the project. Lunch provided by the Center for Integrative Studies.

Faculty Development and the Broome Library are collaborating to offer ways for faculty to share and discuss their research and creative activities through a bi-weekly series called "Works in Progress." This includes everything from a new research project being explored to something recently published. The series is biweekly, with in-person events on Thursday afternoons, and Zoom events on Friday afternoons.

The University encourages persons with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities.
